I got into video production while in schools as part of the curriculum, but quickly found I had a knack for editing. I started out using Final Cut Pro and Motion, but soon moved over to Adobe Premiere & After Effects in my professional experience. Video editing can be one of the most tedious processes in working with multimedia, but I think it is visually the most rewarding.
Due to the nature of past positions, video projects came as needed. I have usually been the one stop shop for digital assets. I feel that video is an important part of building a brand and awareness. My previous roles have shared several responsibilities, so I’ve never been able to focus solely on video production as much as I like. Though I jump at any opportunity to work with video. I have a lot of experience working at live events. I contributed film for several years to KQRC 98.9 The Rock’s Rockfest (Kansas City’s annual largest single day concert) for the commercials & recap videos. I do have experience working with chroma key and contributed to KQRC 98.9 The Rock’s Weekly Rock Wind-Up from December 2012 to June 2013.
